I hope people realize that passing amendment one was a mistake. Sorry that you’re so against same sex marriage that you couldn’t see the other things this amendment also eliminates and changes. It’s not even a completely clear document. Maybe one day you’ll be that single parent whose struggling to get health care or be a victim of domestic violence. But you will no longer be allowed the rights from before. I hope karma gets you, bad.

It’s not up to a government or any other one person to decide who can marry who, a domestic violence charge, or how a single parent can even provide for their child.
